Praxis Information

There are NO EXCEPTIONS to the Praxis requirements.  The Ready to Teach Program does not accept any other state certification test in lieu of the Praxis requirements.  You MUST meet the Praxis testing requirements of the District of Columbia, not the state you want to teach in.

You must pass all 3 parts of the Praxis I Exam (reading, writing, mathematics) to be considered for Cohort 2.  There is a computerized version of the Praxis I tests that may be taken at an authorized testing center any day of the week.
