Requirements
Potential candidates must have the following credentials in order to be considered: A Bachelor’s Degree (with required coursework) from an accredited college or university 2.7 GPA or higher (on a 4.0 grading scale) A desire to teach in a public school for at least 3 years No previous full-time teaching experience No prior coursework in the field of Education Passing scores on the Praxis I and Praxis II(Content) Examinations You must pass ALL 3 parts of the PRAXIS I Exam (Reading, Writing, Mathematics) If you are selected to interview for RtT, passing scores for the PRAXIS II (Content Knowledge) Exam must be reported For more information on the PRAXIS Exams please visit www.ets.org/praxis.
